Adele Grimball Simmons MT. PLEASANT - Free at last! Free at Last! Adele Grimball Simmons is free at last! On Wednesday, April 24, 2013, Adele took her last breath on earth and her first, fresh breath in Heaven! Adele was 50 years old. Words alone are all we have to convey our appreciation for having loved her as she loved us: son, mother, brother, sister, cousin, family, friend. 'Del was a lively, spirited woman who loved people, horses, flowers and the color pink. She loved to make people laugh. She was truly a passionate follower of Christ.' Mary Ann D. Adele is predeceased by her father, Richard Barnwell Grimball. She is survived by her son, Eubanks Logan Grimball Simmons, her mother, Adele Crawford Grimball, her brother, Richard Barnwell Grimball, Jr, his wife, Paige Martin Grimball and their three sons, Richard Barnwell Grimball, III, Crawford Legare Grimball and Edwards Buist Grimball. Services will be held at St. Michael's Church in Charleston, SC on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 11am.
