Albert Joseph “Joe†Cote, 74, of Summerville, beloved husband of Cheryl A Cote, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at his residence surrounded by family and friends. Joe was born on October 24, 1939 in Plymouth, NH, the son of Albert Elden Cote and Odile (Lemire) Cote. He was a Veteran of the US Navy and later employed as a Supervisory Crane Operator at the Charleston Naval Shipyard. Joe became owner and operator of Cote Construction Company. Surviving, in addition to his wife Cheryl are a son, Joseph Cote (Kim) and their children Jenna, Kylie, Kinsey and Joey of the New Hope Community as well as a daughter Tammy McCullough (Randy) and their children Hannah, Alexis and Michelle and her children of Goose Creek. Other survivors include two brothers, Ronald Cote (Geri) of Franklin, NH and Paul Cote (Diane) of Bow, NH; two sisters, Barbara Brunt of Holderness, NH and Rachel Barton (George) of Andover, NH and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Elaine Caldon. Friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Wednesday, January 8th at 1:00 o’clock pm at New Hope United Methodist Church.
