Alisia Ariel Brown

Alisia Ariel Brown, 26, passed away unexpectedly in North Charleston, South Carolina on Wednesday, September 7, 2022.

Alisia, known to most of her friends and family as “Lisi”, was born in Norfolk, Virginia to Christina Wetherbee (Swalef) and Phillip Brown Jr. on June 6, 1996. Lisi had a beautiful smile that brightened up the lives of everyone around here. Even through her own struggles, Lisi did everything in her power to help those around her. She lived her life the way she wanted too and to its fullest. She was a free spirit and we all loved her for that. She had a love for family, animals and motorcycles. Funny enough, she couldn’t drive a motorcycle, but never missed an opportunity to get on the back when given the chance. Lisi absolutely loved her puppy Liliah more than anything in this world, as she was her baby. The love she had for her family is almost unexplainable. She loved them more than life itself. Her loss is felt deeply, and she will be missed tremendously. There's a star shining much brighter with the new addition.

Alisia is preceded in death by her grandmother, Elizabeth Swalef (she was Grandma’s Baby Dumpling); grandfather, Papa Phillip Brown Sr, (Papa Phil); Stepmother, Christina Durand; Great-Grandparents, Frances Brown & husband Earl Brown.

Left to cherish her loving memory is her mother, Christina Wetherbee (Christina was her biggest supporter and hero); Father, Phillip Brown Jr.; Grammy and Grampy, Linda & Ron White; bonus mom, Erica Brown; Bonus dad's, Erik Wetherbee and Ack Robinson; siblings, Tyler Wetherbee, Haley & Taylor Brown; many more extended family members and friends.

Her visitation will take place on Thursday, September 15 from 10am until 11am at Palmetto Cremation Society (5638 North Rhett Ave, Charleston, SC 29406). Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will take place at the same location.
