Alvin L. Kelley

Alvin Lewis Kelley, 61 of North Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024.

Born on June 6, 1963 in Bangor, ME, he was a son of (the late) Donald Kelley and Grace Savage (Overlock).

Alvin worked for Berkeley Heating and Air in Hanahan, SC for 40 years and was a part of several local APA Pool Leagues for many years. He loved playing pool, watching foot ball (Washington Redskins, New England Patriots, and SC Gamecocks), WWE, fishing, and Lemon Meringue Pie. He was a hardworking and dedicated father, husband, and grandfather. 

Alvin is preceded in death by both parents, Donald Kelley and Grace Savage.

Alvin is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Karen Kelley; daughters, Stacy Fogle and husband Jason of Summerville, SC , Amber Kelley of Charleston, SC; Father, Robert Savage of Walterboro, SC; Siblings, Shawne Baker of Smiths Station, AL, Anthony Kelley of Walterboro, SC, Paul Savage and wife Crystal of Summerville, SC, Lisa Hinkley and husband Troy of Maine; and five grandchildren, Raily, Isaac, Joshua, Kimberly and Rhianna.

The family will receive friends at a later date for a Celebration of Life service. Details to be provided once available.
