Andrew Lewis Jeremy Cornell

Mr Andrew Lewis Jeremy Cornell, 42, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday June 27th, 2024.

Born on March 8th, 1982 in Everett, PA he was a son of the late Lucinda Cornell (Figard) and Robert Hummel Sr. 

Andrew was an avid reader of Stephen King and Dean Koontz.

He is preceded in death by both his mother and biological father, as well as his daughter Christa Hudson, and step-brother Travis Windham.

Mr. Cornell is survived by his son, Alexander Cornell of Charleston, his daughters, Jasmine Hudson (wife of Randall) of Charleston, and Stormy Cornell of Spartanburg; his dad and step-mother Steve and Terry (Shores) Hiers, of Walterboro; his sister, Heather Cornell (fiance of Dennis) of North Charleston, his brother, Chad Hummel (husband of April) of Millerstown, Pa, and step-brothers, Schoene and Tracy Jackson of Charleston. He also leaves behind two granddaughters, Khelani and Kayla; as well as his niece, Caitlin Cornell, of Ladson, and nephews Christopher Cornell, of Goose Creek, and Daniel (husband of Indyah) Williams, of Charleston.

The family will gather a memorial service on Sunday July 21st, 2024 at 2 pm at Riverfront Park

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to help cover his funeral arrangements and costs.
