Annette S Winstead

August 27, 1951 — March 14, 2019

Ms. Annette Strong Winstead, 67, of Andrews, SC passed away peacefully on March 14, 2019 at Roper Hospice Cottage in Charleston, SC.

Ms. Winstead was born on August 27, 1951 in Georgetown, SC the daughter of Juanita Fulton and Willie Strong (Preceded)

Ms. Winstead was a graduate of Williamsburg High school and received her Library Sciences degree from Columbia College, SC. She was a devoted librarian at Andrews Elementary School for 28 years where she was remembered fondly by her former students and faculty. She was a member of the United Trinity Methodist Church in Andrews, an avid reader at the Andrews Public Library, and enjoyed peaceful days on the beach at Pawley’s Island.

She is survived by her son Daniel Winstead and wife Sarah of Dawson Creek, British Columbia Canada, her sister Nancy Stewart of Andrews SC, and nephew Marcus Stewart, wife Bianca and their children Jonas, Natalia, and Lucas of Gypsum Colorado and a host of other relatives, friends and extended family.

A celebration of life will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 205 South Rosemary Ave. Andrews, SC on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Annette’s name to Trinity United Methodist Church.
