Barbara Ann Corbin

Barbara A. Corbin, 83, of Summerville, SC, wife of James F. Corbin, died December 1, 2014. Barbara was born May 24, 1931 in Walterboro, SC, the daughter of the Late Kenneth Langdale and late Mary Langdale. Surviving in addition to her loving husband of 52 years are sons, Bruce Owens of Summerville and Randy Owens of Columbia, SC; daughters, Deborah Gray of Ridgeville and Pamela Morgan and Julie Martin of Summerville, SC.. She has 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Surviving, in addition, are brothers, Kenneth Langdale of Waynesville, NC, and Stanley Langdale of Gaston, SC and sisters Ernestine Drawdy of Bamberg, SC and Suzanne Long of Fountain Inn, SC. Barbara worked at Lockheed Georgia Company where she was the first female to be picked as Employee of the Month. She also worked at CR Bard Company. A memorial service will be held on at 4:00 pm, Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Low Country Baptist Church located at 530 Beech Hill Rd (Highway 61), Summerville, SC 29485, where she was a charter member. Refreshments will be served after the services.
