Barton Porter Farmer

Barton Porter Farmer, 65, of Summerville, a retired IT specialist for AIG and husband of Claire Farmer, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018.
Born to the late John James Farmer and the late Mary Smith Farmer, he was a 10 year veteran of the United States Navy.
Mr. Farmer graduated from Summerville High School in 1972 and then graduated from Trident Tech in 1974. He joined the Navy and soon after married and had two children. He has spent his retirement with nature his friends and his granddaughter. His life was full of joy and happiness.
In addition to his loving wife Claire, he is survived by two children, Kathryn Leigh Farmer and Kelly Edward Farmer; one grandchild, Veronica Claire Farmer and sister, Lucy F. McCormick.
