Bobby Darrell Weaver

Bobby Darrell Weaver, known affectionately as Darrell, passed away on July 15, 2024, at the age of 70 in Charleston, South Carolina. Born on June 9, 1954, in San Pedro, California, he spent his formative years in Asheboro NC before making Charleston his beloved home.

Darrell is survived by a loving family: his brother Michael (Mark) Weaver and sister-in-law Desiree Weaver from Chapin, SC; his nephew Andrew Weaver from Elgin, SC; and his niece Heather Weaver, also from Chapin, SC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Gene Weaver and Betty Lou Weaver, as well as his cherished grandparents, Maxine and Fletcher Owens and his beloved dog, Beau, who was his treasured companion and brought so much happiness into his life. 

A man of many passions, Darrell found joy in the simplicity of gardening and the universal language of music. These hobbies were not merely pastimes for him but a way to connect with the world around him and share his gentle spirit with those he loved.

The arrangements for Darrell are being handled by Palmetto Crematory in North Charleston, SC and the family will have a private celebration of life. His memory will be cherished in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
