Brenda Stuart

Brenda Diane Stuart, 62, resident of 717 Olde Puckett Ferry Road, Greenwood, SC, Wife of Patrick Lee Stuart, passed away at MUSC in Charleston, SC on Tuesday, August 25, 2015. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John Floyd Thomas and the late Mable Ivrene Morgan Thomas. Brenda was uniquely herself, always a friend and a help to all in her path. She has left a legacy of love and caring that we will never forget. She loved everybody. She was the family mom. Her selfless acts of kindness helped changes the lives of many. Her life was full of small kindnesses, small courtesies, and small considerations that made her beautiful and charming to all who knew her. Her warm hospitality seemed to be a natural expression of a gracious spirit. She is described as having a sparkling, personality, an inviting manner and a kind heart. She truly enjoyed entertaining and was noted for her surprise delicacies. She was a gracious woman who was generous with her time, her possessions, and her life. She enjoyed being selfless. Her greatest joy and heart's desire was that others would know her savior Jesus Christ. She loved to travel the world. She had a great passion for reading. Along with her devoted husband, she leaves to cherish her memory a son, Charles (Stacie) Stuart of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and a daughter, Samantha (Phillip) Warren of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two grandsons, Patrick Summer of Greenwood, SC and Zachariah Burke of Mt. Pleasant, SC; a brother Ronald (Karen) Thomas and family of Cincinnati, Ohio, and two sisters Barbara (the late Jerry) Gooldy and Family of Milford, Ohio, and Pamela (Michael) Loomis and Family of Norwood, Ohio. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday August 29th at 3:00 pm at The Growing Place Church 3728 Floral Avenue Cincinnati, Ohio 45212. Palmetto Crematory Services of Charleston, SC is handling arrangements.
