Cordes Boylston (C.B.) Finger of Goose Creek, SC, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018. He was born October 2, 1946, in Charleston to the late John and Dorothy Finger. He worked for the SC State Parks as a park ranger for several years and in security for many years, also. He was a self-taught wood craftsman and enjoyed many years of making fine furniture. Most recently, he worked with his wife in their petsitting business "Home Sweet Home Petsitting" of Goose Creek. He had a passion for rescuing pets and volunteered with Boston Terrier Rescue for many years. Cordes was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepard in Summerville.
He is survived by his son, Anthony Finger, of Raleigh, NC; Daughter, Christine Armstrong and husband Roy of Bonneau, SC; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandsons, and 3 nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Finger, his parents, and a brother.
A memorial service to honor Cordes will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepard, 119-B West Luke Avenue, Summerville, SC 29483.
