Cynthia “Cindy†Drum Paris, 71, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, wife of Richard “Gene†Paris, died Thursday, October 25, 2012. Born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on September 20, 1941, Cindy was the daughter of the late Harlan and Lucille Drum. Cindy was an interior designer, Buyer for the Trade, floral artist, who shared her gift with many clients and friends throughout the years. She was an avid “antique collector†and loved finding things for her clients. Cindy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Cindy is survived by her husband, Gene Paris; a son Major Breckenridge Paris and wife Mattie and grandsons, Henry and Jack Paris of Colorado Springs, Colorado; a stepdaughter, Jean Paris of Alpharetta, Georgia; and a beloved pet Drum Paris. Cindy is also survived by her sisters, Janet Smaha and husband Al of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Pam Bishop and husband Bob of Mt. Pleasant, SC ; brother, Ted E. Drum of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as well as many special nieces and nephews. Cindy was an active member of St. Peter’s Church and a celebration of Cindy’s life will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 11:00AM. St. Peter’s Church, 1307 Porcher’s Bluff, Mt.
