Don Anthony Goins

Don Anthony Goins, 42, passed away on Monday, September 2nd, 2019. He was born on October 22nd, 1976 in Lexington, Kentucky, son of Paul and Linda (Prince) Goins. Don was an Environmental Specialist and had worked with Barrick Gold Mines, Carmeuse Mines and S and ME. He was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and received his Master's Degree from the University of Cincinnati. Don enjoyed golf and was a dedicated and avid fan of all UK sports. In addition to his parents, Don is survived by his brother, Tim Goins; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Don is also survived by his beloved girlfriend, Erin Queen and her mother, Sharon Queen. Don was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Wilma Prince, Cassie Ross and Steeley Goins. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 21st at Johnson’s Funeral Home from 9:30am until time of Don’s Celebration of Life Service at 10:30am with Pastor Tony Prince officiating.
