Donald Henry Grier

Donald Henry Grier, 77 of Ridgeville, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024. 

Born on August 1, 1946 in Staten Island, NY, Donald was the son of (the late) Ethel Grier and Andrew Grier. 

Donald was a combat veteran that enlisted in the US Navy and served as a corpsman with the USMC's 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion. After being honorably discharged, he went on to become a police officer with the NYPD. 

He will be remembered by all that met him for his easy going personality, compassion for others, and a quick wit. 

Donald is preceded in death by his wife, Suzanna Grier and sister, Janice Bromfield.

Donald is survived by his son, Adam Grier; granddaughter, Delaney Pulley; grandson, Addison Grier; and brother, Robert (Bob) Grier.

Immediate family is having a private ceremony Friday, February 16, 2024, with a celebration of life for friends and family, time and date TBD.
