Donna Leah Jerome, 82, passed away in Summerville, SC on March 6, 2023 after a long battle with COPD (Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). She was surrounded by loved ones and family friends, and had been in contact with out-of-state family before passing.

Donna enjoyed cooking, and her specialty was making pierogies. All throughout her life she loved chocolate. In her later years, she enjoyed eating waffles with Nutella and cream cheese, sometime twice a day! Three of her biggest past times were smoking cigarettes, listening to country music, and watching her favorite shows on TV. In her younger and middle adult years, she enjoyed driving (locally and out-of-state) to visit family. One year, she hosted a high school exchange student from Germany, and had a chance to visit him and his family after he graduated from high school in Germany. Donna loved children and was a big part of her grandchildren's lives.
