Douglas Leonard Andersen

Douglas Leonard Andersen entered into the company of our Lord, family, and friends on Thursday, October 3rd 2024.

 A devout husband, father, and grandfather he lived his life much as he performed his duties as a Chief Torpedoman in the United States Navy. He lived honestly and he lived for his family and friends. 

He valued family and duty above all else, and proved that through many years of dedicated work and service. 

He is survived by his Daughter Amanda Orozco and her husband Paul Orozco, Granddaughter Lilliann Orozco, and Sister Nancy Autio and her husband David Autio. A memorial service will be held in the spring of 2025. 

Dates will be announced at a later time. He will then be commended into the care of the United States Navy for burial at Sea. 

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St Jude's children's hospital, a charity which was very dear to Douglas's heart.
