Edward Kendall Stock

Edward Kendall Stock of Hollywood SC and Loudoun County Virginia passed away on June 2, 2022 at his home. Mr. Stock grew up in Poolesville, Maryland.  He practiced law in Loudoun County  and Clarke County for over 50 years before retiring to South Carolina. He was a Board Member of the Virginia State Board of Community Colleges and Founder and Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Loudoun. Upon his death he was a member of Church of Our Savior, Johns Island, SC and the Sons of the American Revolution. 

Mr. Stock is survived by his wife of 59 and a half years , Laura. He is also survived by his three children, Mary Kim Waddell(Paul Waddell) of Front Royal, Va., Cecilia Robinson(Todd Robinson) of Macon Georgia, Edward S. Stock(Amy Stock), Winchester, Va. Mr. Stock was also survived by his six grandchildren, Kendall Swicegood (Andrew), Andrew Robinson (Ashlee), Mary Robinson, Virginia Waddell, Olivia Adams, and Jackson Stock,  and his two great grandchildren Amelia Swicegood and Archie Robinson.  He is also survived by his brother John Stock  (Jan) of Middletown, MD, Mollie Stock of Frederick Maryland, and Stephanie Sowers (Pete) of Richmond VA.

There will be two services celebrating the life of Edward Kendall Stock. There will be a service on Thursday, June 23^rd at 11:00 a.m. in Massie’s Mill, Va at a family cemetery in Tyro, Va. And a family and friends gathering immediately following at “Bellevue” 3464 Pharsalia Road, in Roseland, Va. And A second service will be held on Saturday June 25^th at 11:00 a.m. at Church of our Savior in John’s island South Carolina. Family and friends are invited afterwards to a gathering at the church parish hall.
