Elfriede W. Haas

Elfriede Eckart Haas passed away peacefully on July 23, 2020 at the age of 83. Elfriede was born on November 25, 1936 in Karlsruhe Germany after leaving Germany Elfriede found mein schatz when she met Rudy. The couple decided to plant roots and raise their family in Bucks County Pa. Elfriede loved spending time at the Jersey shore and winter months at their home in Naples FL. Elfriede was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and relocated to Mt Pleasant SC where her daughter Tina was able to support and provide her mother with much needed care. Elfriede was a loving mother, homemaker and a remarkable cook who enjoyed entertaining and preparing meals for family and friends. She was a fighter with a feisty personality and beautiful smile.

Elfriede survived by her husband Rudolf and their son Steven (Linda) daughter Kristina “Tina” Farrell (Michael). Loving Oma to her grandchildren Anna, Grace, Elizabeth & John Michael. and favorite Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Karl Eckart and Rosa Burgard Eckart. Sister of Lou Eckart (Pat) and sister in law to Richard Haas (Ann).

Due to COVID-19, the family will have a celebration of life get together at a later date.
