Elizabeth Ann Baldwin

Ms. Elizabeth Ann Baldwin, 78, of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023.

Born on February 14, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA was a Daughter of (the late) Laura Lockwood (Weber) and (the late) Charles Lockwood.

Elizabeth spent several years as an accountant and bookkeeper for retail/grocery. She was an avid animal lover, in which she and her late husband took in and cared for many animals and strays over the years. 

Elizabeth always had her door open to family and close friends for a place to stay if needed. She adored her granddaughter and great grandchildren. She spent a lot of time building memories with them as they were growing up, including playing the song "Girls Just Want To Have Fun," and dancing to it in the kitchen, with her favorite granddaughter, Bristol. She enjoyed the technology help from her great grandson, Kaiden, and his joy of old school music and such.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by William A. Baldwin III (Spouse), Charles Lockwood (Father), Laura Lockwood (Mother), and Evelyn Lockwood (Sister). She is survived by son, C. David Hiott, granddaughter Kristi McCain (Paul), two great-grandchildren, Kaiden Hiott and Bristol Collier, and her life long best friend that was like a sister to her, Maggie Stead.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an animal shelter, as it would be Elizabeth's wish.
