Beth Dillon

Elizabeth A Dillon, 81, of Hanahan, SC passed away peacefully on her birthday, Sunday September 25, after a short battle with cancer. 

 

Preferring the name Beth, she was born and raised in NH as the only child to Captain Albin and Helen Dietrich. 

 

Beth loved her Atlanta Braves. Even over her hometown team of the Boston Red Sox. Having worked various jobs over the years, her true dedication was to being care giver to her daughter Sharon and grandson AJ, who until her death she was taking care of.

 

Beth was predeceased by her loving husband Bill in 2007, her infant son William in 1966, son Gordon in 2020 and grandson Jonathan Rhodes in 2021.

 

Beth is survived by her daughter Lisa (Dillon) Rhodes and partner Edwin Thoma Jr of North Charleston. Also her daughter Sharon (Dillon) David of Hanahan. Her grandchildren Billy and Heather Rhodes, Christopher Rhodes and Meghan Rhodes and her partner Tyler Burgess all of NH. Also her grandson AJ Dillon of Hanahan. As well as 4 great grandchildren, Ryan, Molly and Dillon Rhodes and Cassidy Rhodes also all of NH. 

 

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make donations, if you choose, to the American Cancer Society or the Mulltiple Sclerosis Society.
