Heyward Jackson Pound

Heyward Jackson (Jack) Pound, 62, of Gaston. 

Jack was a friend to everyone. He provided transportation to so many, he was teased about running a taxi service. He was always willing to help others. He was also an avid fisherman, card player, reader and history buff. 

Survivors are sister April, and brothers Claude, David, and Wayne, and stepdaughter Ashley. 

A service will be held at New Hope Worship center, 426 South Main Street, Gaston, SC 29053, on October 19, 2024. The family will receive visitors at 11am, with the service to follow at 12:00. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Hope Worship Center.
