Horace Newton Pannell

Horace Newton Pannell Jr (Butch), 81 of Hanahan, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023.

Born on May 24,1942 in Winder, Georgia was the Son of the late Edna Adcock Pannell and Horace Newton Pannell Sr.

Butch was retired from public service, over his years he worked for the City of North Charleston, Berkeley County, and the City of Charleston. He was a member of the South Carolina Building Officials Association, the Hanahan Exchange Club, and Sertoma of Charleston. He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them- and if you knew him, you knew it. 

He is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Pannell.

Butch is survived by Linda Pannell (Wife) Brandi Sineath (Daughter) Jeff Sineath ( Son in Law), Chip Sineath (Grandson), Tanner Sineath (Grandson) Kennedy Sineath (Granddaughter-in-Law),and Emma Sineath (Great Granddaughter) Butch also leaves behind two brothers-in-law, two sisters-in-law, and eight nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at The American Legion Post 166, 116 Howe Hall Road, Goose Creek, South Carolina, 29445 on June 24,2023, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. All are invited to come celebrate his life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
