Igor Alexadrovich Malone

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Igor Malone, in Charleston, SC on September 13th, 2023. He was a beloved husband to Shelby Malone, and a cherished friend to many.

He grew up in Bratsk, Russia with his younger brother Vlad and raised by his parents Olga Semenova and Aleksandr Sytko. Igor successfully studied at Baikal University of Economics and Law with several awards of merit with Best Male Vocalist 2013 among them for his beautiful voice. 

He then traveled to Moscow to begin his career as an accountant where in a short time became chief accountant at Fokus photo design studio. He was a true renaissance man with a great aptitude and passion for a wide variety of subjects ranging from photography, biology, languages, architecture, computer programming, and graphic design. Igor had a boundless spirit that lead him to travel across the world to America where he wholeheartedly fell in love with a man who deeply loved him in turn.

Igor will be remembered as an remarkably intelligent man with a kind, generous heart that never faltered in helping anybody he knew, and who was always growing into a more and more wonderful human being. He affected and brightened the lives of countless in his short yet tenacious life.

At the family's request, services will be private at Palmetto Cremation Society. The family kindly requests that flowers and contributions be made to Shelby Malone.
