Irvin Jay Futeral

On June 8, 2014, Irvin Jay Futeral peacefully passed away at the age of 77. He is survived by his loving wife, Carly Futeral, his brother Alan Futeral, his sons Stephan and Michael Futeral, his stepchildren Shelley Curtin and Douglas Waddington, and his granddaughters Emily and Madeline Futeral. It has been said that the flame that burns brightest burns quickest. For those who knew him well, Irvin Futeral’s character and spirit burned so very brightly. Irvin was an accomplished and a hardworking businessman in the Lowcountry. He was a loving husband, brother, father, and grandfather. He was a loyal friend to many, mentor to those closest to him, and known for his integrity and his passion. He will always be missed by his family and friends, but his spirit will endure in the hearts and minds of those who loved him so very much.
