James J. Mackulin, age 77, passed away on 28th of January 2021.
Born June 8th, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio to Joseph Mackulin and Amelia J. Mackulin. He studied Mechanical Engineering at Cleveland State University and worked in the aerospace manufacturing industry. He was an avid hunter and lifetime member of the South Cuyahoga Sportsman Association. Additionally, he was a lifelong automobile enthusiast and member of the Coastal Carolina Corvette Club. He retired and lived in the Charleston, SC area since 2010.
He is pre-deceased by his first wife Elaine (Martens) and survived by his wife, Jean A. Mackulin, children Kenneth (Lynda), Bryan (Cyndi), Alan (Lisa), Jennifer Hengsteler, Dawn (Dave) Matela, stepchildren, Sean and Eamonn (Samantha) O’Shea, grandchildren Jessie, Zachary, Mason, Brittany, Kenny, Logan, Abbey, Dylan, Alec, Grace, Evan and Finnick and 4 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Ashley, Monday February 1st, 2021 at 11:00am.
