Jeanne Loostrom Evans

Jeanne Loostrom Evans, 76, of North Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023.

Born on December 2, 1946 in Charleston, SC the daughter of the late Dorothy Sturkie (Floyd) and Robert Loostrom.

Jeanne retired from Roper Hospital to spend time with family and to dote upon her grandchildren. She was a fun loving and giving person with a quick wit. She never met a stranger. The world was a better place with her. She was loved and will be greatly missed.

Jeanne is survived by her favorite son Ronald Bastian Jr. (Stephanie), her son Douglas Bastian (Kristin), her three grandchildren Trip, Marie, and Lane, her sister Barbara and her brother Jimmy, and cherished nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her "Daddy" Carrol Sturkie, her sister Pat and her brother Roddie.

A celebration of life will be held for Jeanne at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Arbor Day Foundation.
