Jeffrey Dwight Gilbert

Jeffrey Dwight Gilbert, 61 of Conway, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024.

Born on August 27, 1962 in Fairfax, VA was a Son of (the late) June Gilbert (Tudor) and Fred Gilbert. Married on March 29, 1996, to Betty June McNaughton of Conway, SC.

Jeff was a man of immense love, empathy, and humor. Cherishing every moment with his loved ones. Whether he was working, golfing, fishing or enjoying music, Jeff was always surrounded by family or friends. If ever there was a need, he was there with a helping hand. 

Jeffrey is survived by Betty Gilbert (Spouse). David Schultz (step-son), Tammy Snyder (Eric)(step-daughter). Angela and Tiffanie (Marcus)(granddaughters), Zachary (grandson), Ashley and Samantha (granddaughters). And 2 great grandchildren. Fred E. Gilbert (Suzan Metz), Gary Gilbert, and Kenneth Gilbert (Espy)(brothers) Donna Mangers (Darren Layne) and Beth Almera (sisters). Gracie Voss, Patricia Shane (Roger), Marcia Bush and Sharon Stanley (Rick) (sisters-in-law), Jack McNaughton (Beth) and Bruce McNaughton (Sally) (brothers-in-law). And many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 3:00PM, on Saturday, August 17, 2024 , at Coastal Community Church, 2668 US-378 in Conway, SC. Reception to follow memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association. https://act.alz.org > donate
