Jo Ann Boyd Lake

Jo Ann Boyd Lake, 82, entered into eternal rest at the East cooper Medical Center on Monday, March 13, 2023.

Jo Ann, of Daniel Island, was born on September 22, 1940, in Charleston, South Carolina, Jo Ann was the daughter of Robert F. Sneed and Carrie Rousso Sneed.

Jo Ann was predeceased by her parents and her daughter Toni Lynn Melendez. Jo Ann was a retired operator, having worked at AT&T in Charleston.

She is survived by her children, John (Johnny) Robert Boyd (Anne), Roger Scott (Scotty) Boyd Jr. (Arlene). Surviving siblings are Elaine Hilburn, John Sneed (Linda), Robert Sneed (Kathy) Tina Thompson (Ron) and Roberta Brown. Jo Ann will also be missed by a host of family that called her Granny Jo and JoJo. She was proud of her 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent St. Judes, Special Olympics or to the charity of your choice.

A Memorial Gathering will take place on Sunday, March 19th, 2023 at 2pm, at Palmetto Cremation Society, located at 5638 N Rhett Ave, North Charleston, SC 29406.
