John enjoyed vacations with his children and grandchildren.

John often reached out to help others who were struggling with addiction, believing it to be an integral part of his own sobriety. He did achieve peace in is life through Alcoholics Anonymous.
Due to his closeness with the Alcoholics Anonymous community and the people with whom he chose to share his daily battle for sobriety, his memorial service and celebration of his life will be held at the Alcoholics Anonymous Club located at 1005 Ulstad Avenue, Albert Lea, MN on 10/19 between 3:30- 5:30 PM.
