Johnnie Wayne Nolin

March 5, 1952 — May 19, 2021

Johnnie "Wayne" Nolin, age 69 went to be with his Lord on May 19, 2021
after an extended battle with cancer. "Wayne" was preceded in death
by his parents Johnnie and Ruby Nolin and his sister Brenda N Howard (Larry) of North Charleston, SC. He is survived by his wife,
Linda Rowe Nolin of Hanahan, SC, his daughter, Shelby N. Magers
(Patrick) of North Charleston, SC, his son, Johnnie Nolin (Ashlyn) of
Summerville, SC, step-son, Justin Cotton (Kelly) of Oak Ridge, TN,
step-son, Jonathan Cotton of North Charleston, SC, grandchildren
Anderson, Benjamin, Olivia, Killian, Caroline, Aly, Raymond, Reece and
Bailey, his sister, Nancy N. Beck of Spencer,TN, his aunt Faye Hiers
of Daniel Island, SC, his nieces, Kim Beck (Tony Hunt) and Kristen
Beck, his nephews Donald Howard (Sonya) and Jeremy Howard, great
nieces, Krystle Hunt, Kelsey Hunt, Abbigaile Hunsucker, Madison
Howard, Sierra Holden, great nephew Dakota Howard, his cousins Cindy
Kennedy, Steve Kennedy and Danny McJunkin and his best friend, Brad
Lisk (Cheryl) of Summerville, SC.

"Wayne" was a graduate of Chicora High School (Class of 1970) and The
Baptist College of Charleston with a BA in Business Administration. He
was previously employed as the Head of Building Inspections
Department for the City of North Charleston, followed by employment in
construction, where he loved drawing building plans and architectural
designs for different companies and individuals, as well as doing
electrical work in construction before retiring.

"Wayne" loved his Lord, his family, his friends and his animals. He
was an avid Gamecock fan no matter win, lose or draw. His hobbies
included watching every sport imaginable and fishing.

A special thank you to his Hospice caregivers. At this time there are
no plans for a memorial service due to COVID. If anyone would like to
make a donation in his memory please make it to the local American
Cancer/Research Society, Hospice
of Berkeley County or a charity of your choice.
