Linda Lee Cherwinski

Linda L (Lanoue) Cherwinski, 70, a devoted partner and mother passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 due to complications with COPD. She was the beloved wife of George Leo Joyal. 

She was born June 10, 1954 in Providence, Rhode Island. She was the daughter of the late Daniel Lanoue and the late Beatriz (McCaffrey) Lanoue. 

Linda worked for many years in the healthcare industry as a CNA in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.

Linda was a kind loving woman who enjoyed time with her family and the simple pleasures. She liked playing board games, cards, and coloring as well as doing word searches, and reading magazines.

Linda leaves behind her loving daughters, Lisa R Cherwinski and her husband Saul Maldonado of Providence Rhode Island the late Veronica L Cherwinski, Victoria L (Cherwinski) Champagne and her husband Jason W Champagne of Cranston RI. She was the proud grandmother of Staci L Cherwinski, Jovan J Cherwinski, Nasaiah J Cherwinski Cota, Felicity L Cherwinski, Veronica R Champagne and a Great Grandmother to Adonis S. Cherwinski.

Linda was the loving sister of the late Susan (McCaffrey) Wistrand, the late Daniel Lanoue, Dianna (Lanoue ) Pagnozzi, Beatriz (Lanoue) Valcourt, the late Marky Lanoue, the late David Lanoue, and the late Johnny Lanoue.

Funeral Services and burial will be held privately.
