Linda Gale Churchill

Linda Gale (nee Stanley) Churchill of Johns Island, SC, passed away October 28, 2022, from complications of a stroke. Left behind is her husband, Ted of 57 years and a brother, Cy Stanley. 

Linda was an award-winning watercolor artist of Charleston scenes. She sold her works in numerous galleries throughout the Lowcountry. She owned and managed Artworks; her artistic outlet and picture framing shop for 35 years. A huge lover of nature, she maintained butterfly and flower gardens along with bird sanctuaries. All creatures who ate at her feeders were given names and all guests who visited her home left with a fresh baked loaf of banana bread. She was a consummate artist and a wonderful wife; she will be missed more than we can convey here in words alone. 

Services will be held graveside at Live Oak Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3093 Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC on Saturday November 5, 2022 at 1:00 PM.
