Linda Kay Jackson

Linda Kay Jackson, 75, of Charleston, SC passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on Monday, May 15, 2023. Linda was born in Welch, WV on March 27, 1948 to the late Pat and Pauline Anderson, and is preceded in death by her sister Claudia Marshall.

Linda was a talented hairdresser and the owner of Hair Affair in Roanoke, Virginia from 1969-2014. She was a devoted Christian and lived a life filled with adventure, golf, laughter and fun. She had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community at Indigo Hall.

Although a few health issues slowed her down in her later years, she never gave up. As a breast cancer survivor, no matter what she was facing, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Linda stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. She will be greatly missed and always in our loving memory as a strong woman.
Linda is survived by her daughters, Tiffany Jackson-Sandstrom and husband, Hosea Sandstrom; Amber Jackson-Berg and husband, Ryan Berg; her two granddaughters, Lakyn and Skylar Sandstrom; her niece, Pam Murphy; and her nephew, David Marshall, and their families.

A memorial service will be held in Charleston, SC at the Isle of Palms Exchange Club on Saturday, June 24, at 5:00pm. All are welcome.
