Lindsey Priscilla Bedenk (Currie)

Lindsey Priscilla Bedenk (Currie) died on March 31, 2016 at the early age of 24. Lindsey was a fun loving, compassionate person who lived a life full of love and adventure. She was born in Santiago, Chile on June 10, 1991 and was raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She moved to Charleston, South Carolina two years ago to be with the love of her life, her wife, Melissa. She loved the Charleston area, but her heart was always in the mountains of Colorado where she found peace and a special oneness with nature. Her draw to nature led her to a life long passion for animals and to a career as a certified veterinary technician. During the past four years she worked in both veterinary practices and and at emergency veterinary clinics in Charleston and Colorado Springs. Lindsey's joy and love touched all whom she came in contact with. She will be dearly missed, but will remain in our hearts forever. She is survived by her wife, Melissa Bedenk, her parents, Gayle and Paul Currie, her brother, Andrew Currie and her numerous pets.
