Lou Kinney, 81, originally of Dahlonega, Georgia and longtime resident of Kiawah Island, passed away peacefully after a long illness.
She is survived by her husband, Jim, three sons: Scott, Brian and Michael, numerous granddaughters, grandsons, great granddaughters and great grandsons. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin and granddaughter Alexa.
She was an active tennis player, turtle patrol volunteer, meals to the home bound volunteer, and served at the Church of Our Saviour, Johns Island, on alter guild and the Angels Desk. She is best remembered for a smile and compassion for everyone.
A Celebration of Life Service is planned for June 11 at the Church of Our Saviour, Betsy Kerrison Parkway, Johns Island.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Church of Our Saviour Outreach Program will be appreciated
