Margaret Virginia Frederick

Margaret Virginia Frederick, 95 of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, passed into the arms of the Lord on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.

Born on February 1, 1928 in Baltimore, MD she was the daughter of Michael Joseph Ryan and Lydia Ellen Sullivan.

Margaret worked for the Federal Government for 35 years and retired from the Veterans Hospital in Baltimore, MD as Chief of Accounting. She and her husband retired to Charleston and she later worked for Miller Cadillac of Mt. Pleasant in accounting. Margaret loved her family, her church, sports and her Irish roots. She was a member of Stella Maris Church on Sullivan's Island, the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians and the South Carolina Irish Historical Society.

Margaret was predeceased by her loving husband, Philip K. Frederick Jr., her parents and sisters Mary Ryan Smith, Nancy Ryan Jenkins, brothers Michael Joseph Ryan and William Frank Ryan.

Margaret is survived by her daughter Virginia Kimberly Frederick and son Philip K. Frederick III (Rebecca) of Mt. Pleasant, SC. Her grandchildren Kimberly M. Frederick and Benjamin M. Frederick of Atlanta, GA.

The family would liked to thank Theresa and Dierdra of Roper/St. Francis Hospice and care giver Micki Denmark.

There will be a funeral Mass on Saturday, November the 4th at 10am at Stella Maris Church, 11204 Middle St., Sullivan's Island.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stella Maris Church or Roper/St. Francis Hospice.
