Marilyn Viola Van Patten

Marilyn Viola Van Patten 74 of Holly Hill, SC passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at the
Agape Hospice House in Summerville, SC from complications of Huntington’s Disease.

Born December 2, 1947, in The Dalles OR, Marilyn was the daughter of the late James E. and Viola
(Oades) Anthony. Marilyn had her own Red Hat Society Chapter “The Classy Ladies” where she loved
her adventures with her wonderful friends.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her son, Robert Lee Van Patten and her brother James Anthony.
Marilyn is survived by her partner Justin Ward, her son Tom Van Patten (Amy), daughter Michelle
Crowley (Ron), six grandchildren, two great grandchildren; her sisters, Anita Ordway (Gayle), Linda Lyon,
Sandra Mansell (Gary); and by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Burial arrangements will be scheduled at a later date to take place in Summerville, SC & in  The Dalles, OR.
