Michael Anthony Scarborough passed away on Saturday, March 2nd, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mike was born in Charleston, South Carolina, on June 14, 1943, to William and Margarite Scarborough. He attended Bishop England High School and served six years in the United States Army.
Mike is predeceased by his wife, Mary and is survived by daughter, Robin Roxas; son, Timothy Scarborough; son, Shawn Scarborough; sister, Theresa Pop and many cousins, nephews and nieces and countless friends.
The family would like to thank the Ralph H. Johnson Veterans Administration Hospital medical and support staff and Hospice of Charleston for their outstanding compassionate care during Mike’s journey. A special thanks also to Bees Ferry Veterinary Hospital’s Happy’s Porch for their love and care of Mike’s beloved cat, Red.

A private memorial will be held in the near future.
