Michael Hoover

Michael Hoover, 66, of Daniel Island, SC, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023. He was born November 1, 1956 in Fairmont, WV, a son of the late William and Betty Hoover.

Mike was a 1975 graduate of Farmington High School and attended Fairmont State University. He worked with Westinghouse Corporation in Fairmont, Lockheed Martin in Charleston, SC, and retired after thirty years of service with Hoover and Wells, Inc., Toledo, Ohio.

Following his cancer diagnosis, Mike enjoyed family vacations in Italy, Australia and Aruba. He is survived by his daughter, Monica Howanyk, and his grandson, Zane Howanyk. Mike's final resting place is in the family plot at Magnolia Cemetery, Charleston, SC.
