Olive Graye Espinoza

Our loving, sweet daughter Olive Graye Espinoza, 2, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.

Born on September 6, 2022 in Charleston, South Carolina was the daughter of Audre and Thomas Espinoza.

Olive is survived by Audre Espinoza (mother), Thomas Espinoza (father), Carrie Flournoy (grandmother) and Susan Rogers (grandmother).

She loved her rattles so so much, she would wave them around so fast and hit them against her head to hear the rattle. She loved to blow raspberries and smack her mouth together to make a popping noise. Olive loved to kick her feet on the couch or ground or table to make noise.

She loved her activity chair, she knew it was time to snack and play once she got in there. She loved to watch "Hey Bear" and get excited about the dancing. She had recently discovered she can move her head to look like she's dancing, but she really was grinding her teeth. She loved to dance it would make her laugh.

She would sound like a little frog grinding those teeth. She loved yogurt melts and get messy when eating her favorite snacks. She loved blowing raspberries on her hands or have us blow raspberries on her hands to make her laugh and smile big.

She loved the sound of clapping and most of all she loved her mommy and daddy so much and we loved her more than anything in this world.

She loved to kick her little legs on the table when doing trach care. She loved to clap and dance.

Olive loved car rides. The moment we would get her in the vehicle she was calm and full of happiness smiling away in the back seat.

We would shake her arms side to side and she would start laughing so hard, until we saw all her teeth and big beautiful smile. When we would move her body from side to side to roll over she would start laughing and give us a big smile.

She loved her baths, she would kick away and just relax in her baths. Olive loved to get dressed up and have miniature photo shoots.

Her favorite thing in the entire word was when we would blow raspberries on her palm of her hands and she would laugh and smile so much, she got to the point she would start putting her hands right on our faces just for us to blow raspberries on them.

Every moment from the time she was born, was our favorite moments with her. Olive gave us the best 2 years of our lives. She will forever be missed and will forever be our little princess. She fought hard to live from the moment she was born. She is the most toughest little girl we've ever met and we will forever cherish every single moment we had with her.
