Patricia Ann Brazell

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Patricia Ann Lawless Brazell who passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 27, 2024 at MUSC medical center in Columbia South Carolina.

Born on April 5th 1959 in Middlesboro Kentucky she was a Daughter of the late Margie Sue (Good), and Chester Lee Lawless. 

She was a member of Westside Holiness Church in West Columbia. Patricia was deeply rooted in her faith in God and began playing the piano and organ at an early age for her Church, a passion she would continue for many years.

Patricia was a loving mother, caring friend, and hard worker. Her caring nature carried over into her career of helping others. She started her counseling career in Oahu, Hawaii where she also served as a Mayor of her local neighborhood of Scholfield, and coached cheerleading for many years. She then later moved to South Carolina where she worked as a house manager for a domestic violence shelter. She lived her life to uplift people and support those she loved.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Fannie Lawless, and Thelma Good. 

She is survived by her husband Clarence Brazell of West Columbia SC, and her beloved children daughter Jessica Ann Harris (Chris Palermo) of Saint Matthews SC, and Son Christopher (Samantha) Harris of Little Mountain, SC. Granddaughter Annabel Pauline Harris, and many other family and special friends.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday August 3rd 2024 at 11:30 am at the Westside Holiness Church West Columbia.
