Randy Lee Hunter

Randy Lee Hunter at age 62 of Johns Island, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024.

He was born on February 21,1962 in Marion, NC and was the son of Myra Hunter (Anderson) and the late William T. Hunter.

Randy graduated from McDowell High School and was an active basketball player and sports fan throughout his life. Randy loved the Lord and attending church throughout his life. He is a member of Seacoast Church in Johns Island, SC. 

Randy is preceded in death by his father, William T. Hunter. 

Randy is survived by his wife Drenda, daughter Madison, and son Matthew. Matt and his wife Karen of Mauldin, SC blessed Randy with two beautiful grandchildren, Levi and Jordan Hunter. Randy is also survived by his mother, Myra Hunter and sister Vicki Ochoa of Marion, NC, and sister Margie Kelley and her husband John of Mills River, NC. 

A Celebration of Life Service for Randy will be held at First Baptist Church of Rhodhiss, 200 Park Avenue, Rhodhiss, NC 28667 on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at11:00 AM. Receiving of friends and family will take place following the service.
