Raymond Regis Swain III

Raymond Regis Swain III, 65, passed away April 26, 2022 at Ralph Johnson US Veterans Hospital Hospice Charleston South Carolina. Raymond was born in Charleston SC on August 1, 1956. He was the son of the late Raymond R. Swain Jr. and Doris J. Phillips. After graduating from Moultrie High School in Mount Pleasant SC Mr. Swain served in the US Navy as an Avionics Technician from 1975-1981. Raymond leaves to cherish his memories his son Raymond R. Swain IV (Jacqueline) and grandson Rowan; his siblings Gail S. Pohl (Richard), William W. Swain (Jane), Mark O. Swain (Therese) and Carol L. Swain (Don). In the near future his family will gather for the celebration of Raymond’s life. In his final days Raymond was well attended with every comfort and with a dignity that only the United States Veterans Administration Hospital Hospice can provide. For the extraordinary care and comfort given to Raymond in his final days his grateful family requests that memorial donations be made to the Ralph Johnson United States Department of Veterans Affairs Charleston South Carolina.
