Rita Sue Duffy

Rita Sue Duffy parted this world on Wednesday, August 12, 2015. She was 58 years young. Rita was born to Willard and Leona Burdine on November 4, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio. In 1984, she settled in the beautiful city of Charleston, SC to raise her two daughters. Her hard work ethic and determination allowed her to accomplish many things during her life. Rita had the opportunity to share her many talents, both professionally and personally. She will always be remembered for her selfless nature, bold personality, sense of humor and love of pugs. She is survived by her daughters, Tracy Low and Lauren Duffy, her son-in-law, Stanley Low, grandchildren, Trey Low and Gracean Low, her sister, Jennifer Maisch, her brothers, Ricky and Terry Burdine, many wonderful friends, and her pug, Bailey. The service will be held Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 2pm at St. Luke’s Chapel located at 181 Ashley Avenue, Charleston, SC 29425. Arrangements by Palmetto Cremation Society, Charleston, SC.
