Russell Wayne King

Russell Wayne King, 59, of Ladson, South Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, 10/2/2023.

Born on September 20, 1964 in Goldsboro, North Carolina, son to the late Mary Henson and Donald King.

Russ felt great joy spending time with family and friends, and was always up for a good conversation, or debate. He was a dedicated employee and friend to those at Superior Electric Company where he was a project manager for many years. He was a man of many skills, and of many interests. Russ was an avid gamer, guinea pig enthusiast, and enjoyed his boating and fishing trips. He will be remembered for his kind heart and caring nature.

Russ is survived by his wife, Kimberly King; brother, Christopher King; sons, Timothy and Daniel King; daughter, Tiffany Bradley; step-daughters, Aime Kimball and Melissa Balon; step-son, David Horton; and many loved ones including his grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and his beloved dog, Sassy.

A celebration of life will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Society, and Charleston Animal Society.
