Shannon was the beloved son of Susan Oakley Mills and Walter Andrew Mills and was a resident of Johns Island, South Carolina.
Shannon was a loving father to Shannon Noelle Mills of Austin, Texas and Emma Dowdle of Boiling Springs, South Carolina. He was a second Father to Dillon West, of Peyton, Colorado and Cory West, of Cowpens, South Carolina of his wife Eva Maldonado Mills.
Shannon was currently employed as a Purchasing Manager by CarVendee, a division of Hudson Management Group. He was employed with Hudson Management Group for the last five years. He has 25 years of car sales/Management prior to his current position. He enjoyed training, team building (and bossing) those he worked with. He graduated from Dorman High School in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Shannon was an avid wildlife conservation enthusiast and thoroughly enjoyed all things associated with coastal living. He loved beach fishing, sharing his knowledge about ocean wildlife and fishing, shopping the marinas, boating, kayak fishing and walking the beaches. He loved his family, his music, Christmas, life and had a huge heart. He was a contributor to Ducks Unlimited and loved to pull names for children from the Salvation Army Angel Trees at Christmas.
A celebration of life will be announced once all arrangements have been completed and confirmed.
