Stanley Robert Piscitelli, 78 of Summerville South Carolina, died at home on Friday, May 27, 2022. He was born in Seneca Falls, New York on May 31, 1943 the son of Matilida and Clement Piscitelli.
He graduated the class of 1962, Mynderse Academy, Seneca Falls, New York and received a BA degree from Drake College of Florida, Fort Lauderdale, Florida on June 26, 1967.
Stanley worked in a family business, Akron Rule, and later established his own company in a related trade. He settled in Charleston, South Carolina, worked for Coastal Glass and retired in 2012.
Stanley loved hanging out with friends, dancing, traveling, entertainment, football and March Madness. He was an avid collector of Lionel electric trains and enjoyed trading with other collectors at various trade conventions and train shows.
He was known for his kindness, humor, mild temperament and positivity. His warm demeanor was infectious and his laugh contagious.
He died as he lived, everyone’s friend. We take comfort in knowing that Stanley has fulfilled his legacy and is now at peace enjoying eternal life. He will always live in our hearts, and the love he shared will light our way forward.
Stanley is survived by Rose Marie Holman Piscitelli (Wife), Matilda Piscitelli Renegar (Mother), Laura Piscitelli (Daughter), Michael Piscitelli (Son), bothers Vincent and Raymond Piscitelli, Earl Hall (Brother-in-Law), Bryan Holman (Stepson) and many other family members, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. His father Clement Piscitelli and sister, Joan Piscitelli Hall, predeceased him.
Should friends desire; donations may be made in Stanley’s honor to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation, or a charity of personal choice. Prayers are sincerely appreciated.
Services will be private. Stanley will be laid to rest in his hometown, Seneca Falls, New York.
