Sylvia Jean Hildreth (Sylvia Spurlin Hildreth), 75, peacefully passed away after her battle with cancer on February 8, 2025, in Charleston, South Carolina. She was born on August 25, 1949, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Sylvia was a woman of warmth and kindness who brought joy to those around her with her lighthearted spirit and selfless nature. She had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved dog Brody and her cherished cats Jinx and Bougie, who remained by her side through all of life’s moments. Her home was always filled with love, laughter, and the comforting presence of her furry companions.
She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—gardening, reading, and watching an array of shows and movies. Whether tending to her plants or getting lost in a good book, Sylvia embraced the world with curiosity and enthusiasm. Her sense of humor and playful personality made every moment spent with her special.
Sylvia is survived by her sons, Randy England (Yolanda England) and Jason Aycoth (Kara Aycoth); as well as her grandchildren, Andrew England, Amanda England, Bella Aycoth, Ava Aycoth, and Grayson Aycoth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hildreth.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
