Toni Garrison Shannon

Toni Garrison Shannon, of Lumberton, TX formerly of Goose Creek, SC passed away unexpectedly on January 3rd, 2025. Toni was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

Toni, the daughter of the late Wetzel and Marie Garrison, was born on May 5, 1965, in Portsmouth, VA. She was a free spirit. She loved her parents dearly and had a special bond with her mother Marie.

Toni loved animals and often owned many dogs, cats, chickens, and ducks. She worked for many years with the Goose Creek ASPCA and later in life in interior design and jewelry making. She loved planting flowers and enjoyed watching her nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

Toni is survived by her son, William Shannon, of Greenwood, SC, and her grandson, Junior; her beloved dog Ladybug; her sisters Robin Rose (Elliott) of Goose Creek, Tracy Stockdale (Mike) of Southside, Alabama, and Valerie Bensinger (Tony) of Goose Creek; brother, Garry Garrison (Cindy), of North Charleston and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
