William Lewis 'Red' Hunt

William Lewis “Red” Hunt, 74 of Charleston, South Carolina died on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at his residence in Charleston. Born Saturday, September 16, 1939 in Branchville, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Robert Hunt and the late Eva Young Hunt. He was the husband of Jean McDonald Hunt. Mr. Hunt served in the United States Air Force and was a Mason at Mariner Lodge #2 for 50 years. Surviving are son, Eric 'Sammy' Minter of Charleston; daughter, Susan Hunt Mallard and husband Clint of Charleston; grandchildren, Trevor Mallard, Dustin Johnson and Andrea Jackson all of Charleston and sister, Bobbi H. Ward of Goose Creek. He was predeceased by daughter, Roxane C. Minter. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
